MoMu School workshop on hats

Imaginary hats designed at the MoMu School

The MoMu School series have come to an end after 10 weekly sessions. The children delivered magnificent results which were presented at the MoMu Atelier. Muriel Delvigne, workshop coordinator, explained the process of the workshop saying, The sessions began with a visit to the Stephen Jones exhibition. Inspired by Jones’ designs, the children drew imaginary hats. The real challenge for them was translating their 2D designs into 3D. Depending on their design, the children used different materials such as second-hands hats, felt, straw, crocheted table mats and even plastic cutlery. After completing the hats we organised a photo shoot with styling and make-up obtaining some really great images!
